To place business with General Fire &
Casualty Company, you must have an appointment with Command Insurance
Managers, another subsidiary of GF&C Holding Company. To
obtain an appointment, we must receive from you:
- Our Producer
Profile. This is to be filled out on-line.
- A copy of the agency licenses for
all states where your Agency will place business with us.
- A copy of the licenses held by each Producer
and CSR in those states for which they will submit
applications.
- A CERT or the Dec page from your E
& O Policy showing the insuring carrier, limits, deductible,
effective & expiration dates.

- When we have the completed Producer
Profile, copies of your licenses and evidence of your E & O
coverage, we will review your information.
Once your Producer Profile is reviewed,
you will be contacted by a marketing representative to discuss the
viability of an appointment. If agreement is reached, you are welcome to
start submitting applications and will be assigned to an
underwriter. However, you will not be able to bind any accounts
until you have completed all five steps and have returned the signed Agency Contract.
After completing the Producer
Profile (a task that should take no more than a few minutes)
you will be admitted to a site that will allow you to download (in pdf
format) a copy of our Agency Contract, the Commercial Multicover Policy,
and an Agency Checkoff form that is used in conjunction with your
commercial application when submitting business. This checkoff
form, which follows in the same order as the policy, illustrates how
sublimitted coverage options can be tailored for each insured.
